Step Outside Your Comfort Zone
Fear and growth go hand in hand. When you courageously face the thing you fear, you automatically experience the growth you have been seeking. – Sandra Gallagher
How would you rate yourself, in general, with respect to these statements. I think we all step forward and back at times. It may seem like we are doing the cha cha. In the end, are you further ahead. Are you willing to be uncomfortable in the interest of growth. Or do you let fear stop you and retreat to safety.
Fear doesn’t mean we can’t do something. It just means we haven’t yet. Fear is simply feedback letting us now we are at the edge of the life we have known.
I can remember way back when I started my self improvement journey. I would read the description on the back of a book and if my stomach hurt, I bought the book. My stomach is where my fear appears. I knew if the book caused me fear, it was something I needed to move forward.
Do you know where your fear lives. Can you recognize it. Is it your friend or your enemy. I would recommend that you befriend your fear. Use it as a stepping stone to move forward.
Do one thing everyday this week that causes you to feel fear. At the end of the week, look back and see how far you have come!
Is fear keeping you from attending my workshop? 😀
If you or anyone you know would like to attend the next workshop, please know that you have to register. I have to let the winery know ahead of time how many to expect. That is one of the reasons I have an early bird savings.
