What Does Will Mean To You?

When John F. Kennedy asked Wernher von Braun, “What would it take to send a man to the moon and bring him home safely again?” Von Braun replied, “The will to do it.”

The Will is a superpower that everyone has. We may or may not use it.

The Will is completely different than willpower. Willpower is inconsistent and forceful, while your Will is used calmly and confidently. Your Will is the ability to hold an image in your mind because you love it.

Will is the capacity to cause yourself to think and do what you really want to do, but not by force — by allowing and understanding.

Vibrant Living Tip

Von Braun didn’t talk about time or money. His reply was about possibility. He responded to the what, not how.

I want to invite you to do that same. We want to train ourselves to use our Will to support what we want to be, do, have.

There is not one thing you could think of for which there is not an answer. There is not one problem you could ever have for which there isn’t a solution.

Your Will holds the picture and you create the passageway for the power to flow into the subconscious. That’s why having a vision is so important.

Concentration increases amplitude of vibration - you’re giving more power to what you’re concentrating on.

You develop your Will by learning to concentrate and stay focused. Here are somethings you can do to stay focused –

  • Condense and rewrite your vision on a 3X5 card and read it 3 times a day.
  • Create a vision board that represents your vision and keep it where you can see it often.
  • In your own voice, make a recording of your condensed vision.
  • Ask yourself everyday - How will I use my Will today?
